Review of the 1st Symposium of the Metaverse Europe Foundation in Brussels
A major milestone has been reached: Our 1st Metaverse Europe Foundation Symposium in Brussels began in the MeetDistrict with a motivating keynote speech by Axel Voss, MEP and spokesperson of the Legal Affairs Committee, and two powerful impulses from Rehana Schwinninger-Ladak, Head of Unit DG Connect, European Commission and Emmie Hine, University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna).
Two highly focussed groups of experts, policy makers, practitioners and academics, led by Oliver Autumn and Patrick Grady, then worked on the selected core topics of European sovereignty and digital identities.
